JKAP (Jurnal Kebijakan dan Administrasi Publik), with registered number ISSN 0852-9213 (print), ISSN 2477-4693 (online) is a scientific multidisciplinary journal published by Prodi Ilmu Administrasi Publik Universitas Gadjah Mada, since 1996. JKAP (Jurnal Kebijakan dan Administrasi Publik) has been accredited as a scientific journal by the The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology: 2021-2024: SINTA 2.

The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the area of public administration and policies. It particularly focuses on the main problems in the development of the sciences of public policies and administration areas. It covers administration development, regional autonomy and bureaucracy, the state apparatus, decentralization, economic and science development, public management, governance, and its policy, and any social sciences that cover sciences of public health, fiscal politics, and regional planning. 

JLA (Jurnal Lingua Applicata) is a biannual, peer-reviewed, open access academic journal dedicated to studies in applied languages, published by Departemen Bahasa, Seni dan Manajemen Budaya (DBSMB), Vocational College of Universitas Gadjah Mada. This journal is indexed in DOAJ, Google Scholars, Dimensions, and SINTA (S4). The objective of JLA is to provide comprehensive knowledge of the applicative aspects of languages in its real-life practices, especially in academic and workspace settings.

JLA (Jurnal Lingua Applicata) invites authors to submit research article or book review manuscripts, written in Bahasa Indonesia or English, in the field of applied language studies, including but not limited to English, Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, and Indonesian. Journal of Applied Geology or abbreviated as J. Appl. Geology – JAG, with registration number e-ISSN 2502-2822 focuses on the applied geology and geosciences with its key objective particularly emphasis on application of basic geological knowledge for addressing environmental, engineering, and geo-hazards problems. This journal is an open-access journal and published under the CC-BY license. All contents are freely available without charge to the user and published two issues per year (in June and December) by the Geological Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Community Empowerment Health) is a national, open access, multidisciplinary, and peer-reviewed journal. The Indonesian community is this journal's focus, and we welcome other contributions from the other community worldwide.

Journal of Materials Processing and Characterization (JMPC) is an international, open-access and peer-reviewed journal aimed to facilitate researchers in disseminating their research works in the field of processing and characterization of engineering materials as well as biomaterials for biomedical applications. The journal is published jointly by Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) and Centre for Innovation of Medical Equipment and Devices (CIMEDs) UGM.

In general, JMPC covers all the research topics related to the processing (such as material preparations, fabrication techniques, post-processing treatments) and characterizations (such as novel methods for characterization, experimental testing and numerical analyses) of metals, polymers, ceramics and composites. To be more specific, the journal covers the following research topics:

1. Processing technologies of engineering materials and biomaterials, including casting, solidification, forming, forging, hot and cold-working, machining, powder metallurgy, extrusion, heat treatments, additive manufacturing, welding, and injection moulding.

Jurnal Kesehatan Reproduksi is a scientific journal published by  the  Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing, University of Gadjah Mada who works closely with Association of Women and Children Reproductive Health Enthusiasts and Experts.  This journal is a media of information and scientific knowledge which contains research articles and case reports in the field of reproductive health issues in women, children, and adolescents; including pregnant women health, gynecology issues and family planning. It is also accommodating the development of reproductive health problems through interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approach.

Jurnal Kesehatan Reproduksi first printed version was published in 2014 with ISSN 2302-836X. In 2016, we also have an online journal version with ISSN 2621-461X. Currently, we already use the Online Journal System, requiring all authors to submit their papers online. Afterwards, authors, editors and reviewers will be able to monitor the manuscript processing.

This journal is published annually every April, August and December. Submission of the manuscript is done throughout the year using direct online submission in https://jurnal.ugm.ac.id/jkr. All submitted papers will be reviewed according to rules and regulation. At present, the reviewing process is performed using single blind peer review. Reviewers will declare which manuscripts deserves to be published through online information.

Jurnal Ketahanan Nasional (abbreviated JKN) specific is becausein relation with Geography, Natural Resources, Population, Ideology, Politics, Economy,Social-Culture, and Defence-Security (Asta Gatra). Jurnal Ketahanan Nasional is accredited Dikti: 32a / E / KPT / 2017 since april 2017. Jurnal Ketahanan Nasional is the periodically scientific publication in Indonesian language that is published by Study Program of National Resilience, Graduate School Universitas Gajah Mada  in co-operation with Lemhannas RI and published three times in a year, month of April, August, and December.  Editorial staffs accept the contribution of draft that is parallel with the  mission and view of this journalstressing on research and development, having Pancasila morale, insight of culture, soul ofdemocracy, and autonomy.The process of acceptance of draft is done every year. The draft accepted will be processed of double-blind peer reviewer , before it is accepted for publishing.

Jurnal Ketahanan Nasional  is published since December, 1 st, 1996, and published online since 2016 with  ISSN version of the printed 0853-9340 and 2527-9688 (online).

Since 2016,  National Resilience Journal uses Open Journal System (OJS), the writers must registrate firstly and upload the draft online. Jurnal Listrik, Instrumentasi, dan Elektronika Terapan or The Journal of Electricity, Instrumentation and Applied Electronics is a scientific open-access journal published by the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering, Universitas Gadjah Mada University. Jurnal Manusia dan Lingkungan  shortened as JML is published by Pusat Studi Lingkungan Hidup (Center for Environmental Studies), Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Since 2018, it is published two times a year.

Jurnal Material dan Teknologi Proses (ISSN 2477 - 2135) adalah media publikasi ilmiah di bidang ilmu material (material sciences) dan proses manufaktur/proses produksi yang diterbitkan oleh Departemen Teknik Mesin, Sekolah Vokasi, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Materi yang dibahas adalah berbagai teknik rekayasa bahan, seperti logam, komposit, keramik, biomaterial, cara memprosesnya (pemesinan konvensional, non konvensional, fabrikasi, pengecoran hingga rapid prototyping), dan teknik pemodelannya. Isi naskah dapat berupa regular article berupa hasil penelitian dan gagasan ilmiah, technical note berupa laporan singkat yang bersifat teknis, dan review article atas suatu topik. JMTP menerima artikel dengan Bahasa Indonesia atau English.

Jurnal Media dan Komunikasi Indonesia (JMKI) published by the Department of Communication Science, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada. JMKI is dedicated to publish and disseminate research, studies, theories, and phenomena in communication science.

The scope of the manuscript to be published in the JMKI is a manifestation of the Department of Communication Science’s vision "Crafting Well Informed Society." JMKI is published twice a year and invites researchers or practitioners from various disciplines to write about media and communication issues such as, but not limited to, journalism and media, entertainment media, advertising, public relations, cultural studies, film studies, and game studies.

Jurnal Nasional Pariwisata (JNP) merupakan jurnal ilmiah di bidang kepariwisataan yang diterbitkan oleh Pusat Studi Pariwisata, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menyebarluaskan informasi hasil-hasil penelitian dan pengembangan, kajian serta pemikiran kritis tentang kepariwisataan. Penyebarluasan tersebut diharapkan dapat dimanfaatkan dalam praktik secara nyata oleh stakeholder terkait dalam mengidentifikasi dan menyelesaikan permasalahan untuk tujuan pengembangan kepariwisataan. 

JNP diterbitkan 2 kali dalam setahun pada April dan September secara online dengan menggunakan platform OJS (Online Journal System). Redaksi menerima naskah ilmiah dari para peneliti, dosen, dan praktisi dengan tema kajian kepariwisataan yang ditelaah secara multidisiplin dan disajikan sesuai kriteria yang ditentukan oleh jurnal ini. Jurnal Nasional Teknologi Terapan Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada terbit setiap enam bulan sekali sejak November 2017. Jurnal Nasional Teknologi Terapan diakui sebagai jurnal ilmiah nasional. Saat ini tersedia dalam edisi cetak dengan ISSN 2613-9235 dan dalam edisi online dengan ISSN 2615-5877. Karena Jurnal Nasional Teknologi Terapan tersedia secara online, penulis, peneliti, dan pembaca dapat dengan mudah mengakses hasil penelitian yang telah dipublikasikan. Jurnal Pariwisata Terapan (JPT) is a biannual, peer-reviewed, open access academic journal dedicated to studies in applied tourism science in Indonesia.  JPT invites authors in the field of applied tourism to submit manuscripts written in English or Bahasa Indonesia. The objective of JPT is delivering comprehensive knowledge on applied tourism science in Indonesia. JPT invites manuscript in three main topics, but not limited to an application of tourism science in hospitality industry, tourism businesses, and destination development in Indonesia. We encourage different perspectives on tourism science application to broader views in the field of tourism and contribute to tourism science development in Indonesia. 

JPT has been received national accreditation by the Directorate General of Research and Development of the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Republic of Indonesia, Decree No. 10/E/KPT/2019 in SINTA 4. Certificate is available in Journal History section. 

Jurnal Pemikiran Sosiologi (JPS) is a peer-reviewed and open access academic journal published by the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social and Political Science, Universitas Gadjah Mada.  The aims of the journal is to provide scholarly publications for social, critical, and humanities studies, with an emphasis on research and theory development within the fields.

JPS is published twice a year and nationally accredited by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia (RISTEKDIKTI), No.21 /E/KPT/2018 (9th July 2018).

With regard to developing scholarly academic tradition in the field of Sociology in Indonesia, the editorial board of Jurnal Pemikiran Sosiologi (JPS) welcome article submissions from related-area experts e.g.: academic scholars, social-humanities researchers, activists or social-humanities practitioners, and especially sociologists. Article submission can be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English. It is important to notice that article submissions should refer to the focus-scope of the journal and author guidelines.

Jurnal Pendidikan Kedokteran Indonesia: The Indonesian Journal of Medical Education ISSN: 2654-5810 is a peer-reviewed open-access journal which publishes research and innovation in curriculum development, student-centred learning, faculty development, assessment, and learning resources in health professions education. Aiming to improve literacy on health professions education in Indonesia and globally, this journal publishes three issues annually in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (Indonesian Journal of Community Engagement), with registered number ISSN 2460-9447 (print), ISSN 2541-5883 (online) is a scientific multidisciplinary journal published by Directorate of Community Services Universitas Gadjah Mada. It is in the national level that covers a lot of common problems or issues related to community services. The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the area of community services.

Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (Indonesian Journal of Community Engagement) contains various activities from diverse groups of people in handling and managing the various potentials, obstacles, challenges and problems that exists in the society. Implementation of service activities also involve the participation of the community and partners. Service activities are organized into an activity aimed at improving the welfare of society.

In the following year of publication, the journal is going to publish quarterly. Every article that goes to the editorial staff will be selected through Desk Review and Initial Manuscript Evaluation processes by Editorial Board. Jurnal Perikanan Universitas Gadjah Mada (Journal of Fisheries Sciences) is a journal published by the Department of Fisheries Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia, to promote critical studies on various investigative issues of interest in the field of fisheries sciences between researchers, academics, students and the general public, as a means of communication, dissemination and utilization of wider scientific works. This journal is nationally accredited as Sinta 2 by Direktur Jenderal Penguatan Riset dan Pengembangan, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Republic of Indonesia No.158/E/KPT/2021 valid from Vol. 22 No. 2, 2020 to Vol. 27 No. 1, 2025 and publish two-issue yearly in January-June and July-December.

Jurnal Perikanan Universitas Gadjah Mada accepts manuscripts in the form of original research, reviews and short communication in all areas of fisheries sciences including but not limited to Aquaculture, Fish Diseases, Fisheries Biology, Fisheries Product Technology, Utilization and Management of Fishery Resources, Fisheries Agribusiness, Extension and Institutional Development and Marine Science. Furthermore, Jurnal Perikanan Universitas Gadjah Mada also accepts selected manuscripts in collaboration with Semnaskan UGM (Seminar Nasional Tahunan Hasil Perikanan dan Kelautan) and ISMFR (International Symposium on Marine and Fisheries Research).

Since 2021, Jurnal Perikanan Universitas Gadjah Mada only accepts manuscripts written in English. All manuscripts should be submitted via our online submission system (https://jurnal.ugm.ac.id/jfs/user/register). Prior to the manuscript submission, authors should first register as the author (only done once for the first time). From this online system, authors are then able to upload manuscripts (text, figures, and supplementary information) and check the status of their manuscripts during the review process. All manuscripts are subjected to the double-blind peer review process and once the review process results as “accepted” (the manuscripts are of high quality, not previously published and are not under consideration for publication by another journal) would be published without any delay in subsequent issues.

Jurnal Perlindungan Tanaman Indonesia is an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to the publication of pests and diseases of crops and commodities, includes, but is not limited to, the disciplines of acarology, bacteriology, climatology, entomology, environmental chemistry, integrated pest management, mycology, microbiology, nematology, pesticide toxicology, pest vertebrate, plant pest and disease ecology, and virology. Jurnal Perlindungan Tanaman Indonesia is published semi-annually (i. e. Jurnal Rekayasa Proses (J. Rek. Pros.) is an open-access journal published by Chemical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Gadjah Mada as scientific journal to accommodate current topics related to chemical and biochemical process exploration and optimization which covers multi scale analysis from micro to macro and full plant size.

J. Rek. Pros. publishes communications, articles, and reviews. The first volume of J. Rek. Pros. has been published in 2007 and continued until today with 2 (two) issues of publication each year. The minimum number of articles for each issue is 5 (five) articles. The official language of the journal is Bahasa Indonesia, but manuscripts in English are also welcomed. Jurnal Studi Pemuda is a pioneer of youth studies journal in Indonesia.  Jurnal Studi Pemuda aims to facilitate academic, practical, and policy discussions on youth issues from a variety of perspectives. JURNAL TEKNOSAINS is a journal, which began publication in 2011, published by the Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada. It starts from Volume 1 Number 1 in December 2011 for printed version and the online version; ISSN (print) 2089-6131 and ISSN (online) 2443-1311. JURNAL TEKNOSAINS is a series of scientific publications in science and technology area from the perspective of a multi and interdisciplinary studies and it is published on each semester in June and December. Jurnal Teknosains has been accredited Sinta 2 by Directorate General of Higher Education, Indonesian Ministry of Education since 2022 (valid until 2026) with the Number 105/E/KPT/2022 in June 6, 2022.

In 2017, Jurnal Teknosains has collaborated with the Operator Cooperation Agency for Higher Education Industrial Engineering Indonesia (BKSTI) to support Journal of Teknosains and working together in managing journals, exchanging articles, and distributing articles broadly together (for details click here).
