Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

  1. The manuscript has not been published or accepted for publication, or are being considered for publication elsewhere.
  2. The manuscript is written in Indonesian or English with standard academic writing structure.
  3. The manuscript is typed in Times New Roman, 1 spaced in a B5 sized-paper (approx. 18 x 25 cm), between 5000 – 8000 words including references, pictures, and tables. The margin of the manuscript are 3 cm for left and top side; and 2 cm for right and bottom side.
  4. The writing system for research outcome consists of:

    Title
    The title should not exceed 14 words; it should be clear, concise, and informative. Abbreviations should be avoided.


    Name of the author
    The author’s name is written without any academic degree, followed by the name of author’s institution and e-mail address, located under the title of the article.


    Abstract with keywords
    Abstract is written both in English and Indonesian. The length of abstract is around 200-250 word, while the limit of keywords is 3-5 words. The abstract contains the main question, aim, methods, and result on the research.


    Introduction
    The introduction should contain the general background and research question, current research position among other research or hypothesis. Literature review can be included in this chapter. The introduction part ends with study objective of the research.


    Methods
    The research methods should elaborate on the method utilized in addressing the issues including the method of analysis and validity of findings.


    Discussion
    Discussion section contains results of the research finding and the analysis of the research. The finding acquired from the results of the conducted research should be written with the argument followed by the supplementary support of adequate data. The research results and findings have to resolve or provide explanations to the question as stated in the introduction.


    Conclusion
    The concluding statement should answers the research question in summary that provide the hypothesis and/or research objectives or acquired findings. The summary should not contain repetition of research results and discussions.


    References
    All references cited in the text of the article should be written in the bibliography section. It should include references obtained from current primary texts that have been published in the last 10 (ten) years.

  5. The manuscript is to be submitted directly to the https://jurnal.ugm.ac.id/pancasila by creating user account as an author.
  6. Tables and figures must have titles and have clear number and sources, and be typed in single space.
  7. All reference mentioned should be written down in reference using American Psychological Association (APA) style (not foodnotes nor endnotes) and arranged from A to Z.   8. All manuscripts are anonymously studied by reviewers appointed by the editor according to their expertise. The author has a chance to revise the manuscript based on the reviewer’s or the editor’s recommendation/advices. The decision of publication or rejection will be informed through the author’s email address.
  9. The editor has the right to modify and correct the spelling, writing, and grammar of the published manuscript.
  10. Everything related to citing permission or computer software usage in writing the manuscript or any other things related to copyright done by the author, along with all its legal consequences, becomes the author’s full responsibility.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration
  2. The document is available in Microsoft Office format (doc, docx, rtf).
  3. The submission includes author name(s), affiliations, and contact information.

Authors are required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs.

If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work.
