Focus and Scope 

This journal provides a forum for experts, academicians, practicioners, and the general public from various fields of legal and social studies. Starting from Volume 3(1) (May 2026), LEVIOPUS will only accept publications in the scope of socio-legal studies and law and society. In this regards, LEVIOPUS welcomes authors from all fields and backgrounds, including such from non-legal author that wishes to submit its work in LEVIOPUS. 

Publication Frequency

This journal is frequently published at two (2) times a year, which is in May and November. Authors are welcome to submit their article to LEVIOPUS throughout the year. 

Peer Review Process

All articles undergo through a comprehensive peer-review process. LEVIOPUS only publish articles that have been reviewed and approved by reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. LEVIOPUS adopts a double-blind peer-review process. The editorial board considers the feedback provided by the peer reviewers and then makes a decision. Types of decisions issued by editors;

• Accepted as it is. LEVIOPUS will publish the article in its original form;
• Accepted with minor revisions, Leviopus will publish the article and ask the author to make minor revisiosn (provide the author a specified revision time); 
• Diterima dengan Revisi Utama , jurnal akan menerbitkan makalah tersebut dengan syarat penulis melakukan perubahan yang disarankan oleh peninjau dan/atau editor (penulis diizinkan merevisi dalam waktu yang ditentukan);
• Kirim ulang  (penolakan bersyarat), jurnal bersedia mempertimbangkan kembali makalah tersebut dalam putaran pengambilan keputusan berikutnya setelah penulis melakukan perubahan besar;
• Jika ditolak  (penolakan langsung), jurnal tidak akan menerbitkan makalah tersebut atau mempertimbangkannya kembali meskipun penulis melakukan revisi besar.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access principle to its contents, meaning that it is the free availablility of articles of research to the public supports a broader global exchange of knowledge. LEVIOPUS is an open access journal, meaning that all content is freely available at no costs to users or institutions. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to ful-text articles in this journal without prior permission from the publisher or authors. 

Kebijakan Plagiarisme

1. Plagiarisme dan plagiarisme diri sendiri tidak diperbolehkan;
2. Para penulis harus memastikan bahwa mereka telah menulis karya yang sepenuhnya orisinal, dan jika para penulis telah menggunakan karya dan/atau kata-kata orang lain, hal tersebut harus dikutip atau dirujuk dengan tepat;
3. Tim editorial memeriksa manuskrip secara manual di basis data offline dan online (memeriksa kutipan dan referensi yang tepat) dan memeriksa manuskrip menggunakan Turnitin. Jika ditemukan indikasi plagiarisme ( lebih dari 25% ), dewan redaksi akan langsung menolak manuskrip tersebut;
4. Secara umum, seorang penulis tidak boleh menerbitkan manuskrip yang menggambarkan penelitian yang pada dasarnya sama di lebih dari satu jurnal atau publikasi utama. Mengirimkan manuskrip yang sama ke lebih dari satu jurnal secara bersamaan merupakan perilaku penerbitan yang tidak etis dan tidak dapat diterima;
5. Pengakuan yang layak atas karya orang lain harus selalu diberikan. Penulis harus mengutip publikasi yang berpengaruh dalam menentukan sifat dari karya yang dilaporkan.

Authors are not required to pay an Article Submission Fee (Free of Charge) as part of the submission process.

Article Processing Charges (APC): 0,00 (USD)

Authors are not required to pay any APC when submitting to LEVIOPUS (free of charge). The public can also download/read the full text of the article free of charge.
