  • Adjustment on the journal template.
  • Adjustment on the Author Guidelines, including the change of the "Methodology" section into "Materials and Methods", and the division of the "Results and Discussion" section.
  • Majalah Obat Tradisional fixed the referencing style into APA Referencing Style 7th Edition. 
  • Majalah Obat Tradisional added 2 articles per issue so the total of article published is now 12 articles per issue or 36 articles per volume/year.

  • Prof. Dr. apt. Puji Astuti, M.Sc. was appointed as the Editorial in Chief, succeeding Prof. Dr. Subagus Wahyuono.
  • Majalah Obat Tradisional made minor changes in the website.
  • Accepted to be indexed in Scopus.

  • Prof. Dr. Subagus Wahyuono appointed as Editor in Chief. 
  • The interface of Majalah Obat Tradisional (Trad. Med. J) was updated.
  • The code or serial numbers used for DOI were updated.
  • The previous website address (http://mot.farmasi.ugm.ac.id) was redirected to the Official Website of Majalah Obat Traditional (http://jurnal.ugm.ac.id/TradMedJ) to make it more accessible for Readers, Authors, Reviewers, and other parties.
  • Majalah Obat Tradisional changed the e-mail address for corresponding purpose from motfarmasiugm@gmail.com to mot.farmasi@ugm.ac.id

  • Majalah Obat Traditional opened its new and official website bound to the Online Journal Directory of Universitas Gadjah Mada (http://jurnal.ugm.ac.id/TradMedJ) 
  • Majalah Obat Tradisional received accreditation from Direktorat Jenderal Penguatan Riset dan Pengembangan, Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi (Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia) (certificate / certificate)

2014

  • Majalah Obat Tradisional acquired ISSN for the second time from Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (Indonesian Institute of Science) numbered 2406-9086.

2013

  • Majalah Obat Tradisional changed its English title into “Traditional Medicine Journal”.
  • The cover of Majalah Obat Tradisional (Traditional Medicine Journal) Volume 18 No. 1. The English title of the journal had been addapted.

2010

  • Dr. Puji Astuti, M.Sc., Apt. was appointed as Editor in Chief, succeeding Prof. Dr. Subagus Wahyuono, M.Sc., Apt. who was engaged as the Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada. 
  • Volume 15 was published online and became the very first online release of Majalah Obat Traditional (Journal of Traditional Medicine). 
  • The issue numbering for every volume published was changed accordingly. 
  • Majalah Obat Traditional opened website bond to Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (http://mot.farmasi.ugm.ac.id) 
  • Binding to Open Journal System, Majalah Obat Tradisional canceled its charge for submission and became entirely free of Submission Fee. 
  • The cover of Majalah Obat Tradisional (Journal of Traditional Medicine) Volume 15 No. 1.

2008

2007

  • As an independent journal and to accommodate its performance, Majalah Obat Traditional charged Rp 250.000,00 for each article submitted and published. 
  • Majalah Obat Tradisional acquired its first ISSN-p from Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (Indonesian Institute of Science) numbered 1410-5918 for printed media 
  • Majalah Obat Tradisional released its first English title being “Journal of Traditional Medicine”. 
  • The cover of Majalah Obat Tradisional (Journal of Traditional Medicine) Volume 11 No. 40

1996

  • The 1st Volume of Majalah Obat Tradisional published by Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta.
  • The purpose of this journal was to assist researchers making their research more public.
