Berita Kedokteran Masyarakat (BKM Public Health and Community Medicine) is a scientific journal in the field of Public Health published in 1985 by the Master of Public Health Study Program Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing (FKKMK) Gadjah Mada University in collaboration with the Association of Community Medical Doctors and Indonesian Public Health (PDK3MI) and the Indonesian Society of Public Health Expert (IAKMI).

BKM has been published every four months since 1985; since 2016 (Volume 32), BKM has been published every month / 12 times a year. BKM was inactive from 2012 to 2015 due to the transition of the journal manager. However, in 2016, BKM resumed publication, increasing its frequency to 12 editions per month.

Since January 2018, BKM Public Health and Community Medicine has been available online with the number ISSN 2614-8412 (online), enabling writers and researchers to more easily access research results published in the journal. In addition, sending research articles to the BKM Public Health and Community Medicine can only be done through an online system (online submission).

BKM Public Health and Community Medicine is recognized as an accredited national scientific journal based on the Decree of the General Director of Higher Education, Research, and Technology Number: 158 / E / KPT / 2021 dated December 9, 2021 (Sinta 2).
