Abstract


Salah satu dampak dari global warming (pemanasan global) adalah terjadinya “perubahan iklim” (climate change) yang memberi pengaruh yang begitu buruk bagi kehidupan. Indonesia, karena posisi geografis yang terletak di ekuator, akan menerima dampak perubahan iklim. Dalam artikel ini masalah perubahan iklim ini akan ditilik dari perspektif kefilsafatan khususnya dari perspektif Filsafat Proses. Alam dunia, termasuk lingkungan, merupakan sebuah jaringan atau keterjalinan satuan-satuan aktual yang saling mempengaruhi dan meresapi. Ada hubungan internal dan bukan hanya hubungan eksternal antara satuan aktual yang satu dengan satuan-satuan yang lain. Realitas adalah suatu jaringan atau keterjalinan macam-macam hubungan, suatu medan gerak aktivitas yang saling mempengaruhi. Perubahan iklim, dalam konsepsi filsafat proses, dapat dipandang dalam dua arah, yakni sebagai suatu chaos (kacau-balau) dan sebagai catastrophe (bencana besar). Secara intrinsik keduanya dapat mengacaukan diri sendiri, baik sebagai satu satuan aktual atau kumpulan yang serupa
