Update of Article Processing Charge in 2025

Dear Colleagues,

Starting January 1, 2025, JTBB will implement a new Article Processing Charge. All submissions made in 2025 and onwards will be charged 250 USD (a flat rate for Indonesian and foreign authors). For Indonesian authors, our admin will insert the converted USD to IDR rate in the invoice (based on Bank Indonesia currency (Type of transaction: Transaction-Average) https://www.bi.go.id/en/statistik/informasi-kurs/transaksi-bi/kalkulator-kurs.aspx).

This adjustment is essential to cover the operational costs associated with the editorial workflow, rigorous peer review process, production, and open-access dissemination of articles. Our priority is to ensure that JTBB continues to provide a platform for disseminating high-quality research to a global audience.

We understand that this change may impact our authors, and we are committed to supporting you through this transition. For those unable to pay the specified rate, we welcome your objection and will consider whether to provide an APC waiver or discount on a case-by-case basis. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us for this purpose.
