RWC Policy
Withdrawal, Retraction and Correction Guidelines
In an effort to maintain the integrity and actualization of data, Seaj Algov provides policies in the form of withdrawing, canceling, or deleting published articles due to certain situations in an effort to improve the literature and maintain its integrity. The withdrawal of journal articles can be done if:
- There are significant scientific violations that have implications for the content of the article. This can occur as a result of intentional violations, such as data falsification, or unintentional errors, such as miscalculations or experimental errors.
- There are ethical violations, such as plagiarism or unauthorized use of another person's ideas, methods, findings, or language, without appropriate credit, including inappropriate authorship.
- There are similar findings published without adequate permission, cross-referencing, or justification.
Retractions can be made through the journal editor or the author. Retractions will be accompanied by, apologies and/or awards for those who informed the authors of the relevant errors accompanying the retraction report. Retraction notices will be published online immediately, with a description of who retracted the article, the reason for the retraction, and include a statement that the original (retracted) article should not be considered for publication, as well as a prohibition on the article being used as the basis for future research.
Author Manuscript Withdrawal Policy
Authors are not allowed to withdraw manuscripts that have been submitted. Authors can carry out the manuscript withdrawal procedure by submitting a request to withdraw the manuscript through a withdrawal letter addressed to the Chief Editor, accompanied by the author's official signature on the letter.
Author Manuscript Correction Policy
If there are corrections to credible publications that are wrong in reporting data, such as errors in the list of contributors to the manuscript, the consideration of corrections will be given to the journal editor with the consideration of editorial board members and input from several reviewers. Seaj Algov will clarify to the author of the manuscript related to the correction material. However, the decision to make corrections or not is under the authority of the editor.
Deletion of Author's Manuscript
Deletion of manuscripts will be carried out if it is found that there is damage to a person's reputation, violation of legal rights established by a court decision, defamation of a person's good name, or the possibility of health risks. Physical deletion of the manuscript will only be done, but the content related to the title and author details will still be displayed in the metadata, accompanied by a statement that “the manuscript has been deleted” along with the reason for deletion.
