Reviewer Guidelines
Responsibilities of Peer Reviewers
Reviewers are responsible for reading and evaluating articles carefully in accordance with their respective fields of expertise. Furthermore, reviewers are expected to provide constructive feedback and input on the author's manuscript. The responses can include the strengths and weaknesses of the article, suggestions for improving the quality of the article, as well as an assessment of the relevance and originality of the article.
Before Reviewing
Before starting the review process, the Reviewer needs to consider the following points:
- Appropriateness of Expertise
- Does the article being reviewed match your expertise?
- If you receive an article that does not match your area of expertise, please notify the Seaj Algov Editorial Board immediately. You can also recommend other reviewers who are more suitable
- Time Availability
- The review process should be completed within two weeks.
- If you are unable to complete the review within this timeframe, please contact the Editorial Board immediately. If possible, you may recommend another Reviewer as an alternative
- Potential Conflict of Interest
- While conflicts of interest do not necessarily disqualify you as a reviewer, it is important to disclose all potential conflicts of interest to the Editorial Board before starting the review.
- If you have any doubts or questions regarding conflicts of interest, please do not hesitate to contact the Editorial Board.
Review Process
Seaj Algov provides a review form that includes an assessment of the title, abstract, content, and references used. The review can be done directly on the form. If needed, the reviewer can provide additional comments or other reference documents to improve the quality of the article.
Things to Pay Attention to When Reviewing:
- Quality and Originality of the Article
- Does the article make a new and interesting contribution to Dynamics of Law and Governance in Contemporary Situation?
- Does the article add to the body of knowledge in the relevant field?
- Does the article adhere to Seaj Algov's writing standards and publication ethics?
- Research Relevance and Significance
- Are the research questions raised relevant to recent developments in Dynamics of Law and Governance in Contemporary Situation?
- Does the research have important significance both theoretically and practically?
- Originality and PlagiarismIf the Reviewer finds indications of substantial similarity between the reviewed article and other works, please report it to the Editorial Board along with relevant references.
- Structure and Clarity of Writing
- Is the structure of the article (introduction, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusion) clear and logical?
- Is the language used easy to understand and in accordance with academic standards?
- Quality of References
- Are the references used up-to-date and relevant to the research topic?
- Are all cited sources properly referenced in the text?
After Reviewing
Upon completion of the review, Bestari Partners are expected to:
- Complete the review form provided by Seaj Algov.
- Provide a clear recommendation regarding the status of the article:
- Accepted without revision
- Accepted with minor revisions
- Accepted with major revision
- Rejected
- Provide constructive comments and suggestions to the author for improvement of the article.
Review Ethics
Reviewers are expected to:
- Maintain the confidentiality of the manuscript of the reviewed article.
- Not use information or data from the reviewed article for personal gain.
- Provide objective and professional feedback without being influenced by subjective factors.
