Abstract

This article aims to analyze the challenges and opportunities of Green Financing in balancing economic growth and environmental sustainability in Indonesia. Green financing is recognized as a solution to address environmental issues and promote sustainable economic growth. However, Indonesia still faces significant challenges in implementing Green Financing. To support the development of Green Financing, the government plays a crucial role through strengthening regulations, developing green economy markets, and collaborating with financial institutions. This research employs a normative legal research method using a literature review of relevant regulations, such as Law Number 32 of 2009 on Environmental Protection and Management ("UU PPLH") and Financial Services Authority Regulation Number 51/POJK.03/2017 on the Implementation of Sustainable Finance for Financial Services Institutions, Emitters and Public Companies ("POJK on Sustainable Finance").
