Efektivitas Komik dan Diari Berbasis Web Untuk Meningkatkan Self-Regulated Learning Mahasiswa dalam Menyelesaikan Skripsi

Abstract


Proses penyelesaian skripsi merupakan salah satu tahapan krusial yang menentukan lama studi mahasiswa. Oleh karena itu, berbagai studi sebelumnya telah berusaha mengungkap faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi proses pengerjaan skripsi serta efektivitas aneka intervensi untuk menangani hambatan yang ada. Sementara itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas intervensi diari berbasis web, komik berbasis web, dan diari+komik berbasis web terhadap self-regulated learning mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi. Intervensi didesain sebagai bentuk modifikasi 2 penelitian sebelumnya, guna menguji metode penyampaian yang berbeda serta evaluasi terkait self-regulated learning yang lebih komprehensif. Penelitian ini melibatkan 35 mahasiswa S-1 yang dapat mengikuti proses penelitian dari awal sampai akhir selama 25 hari. Pengambilan sampel dari populasi tersebut menggunakan teknik sampling purposive sampling. Pengukuran self-regulated learning dilakukan menggunakan hasil adaptasi MSLQ shortened version, yang mana pengukuran dilakukan pada per komponen yang menyusun self-regulated learning. Hasil analisis mixed between-within subject ANOVA menggunakan IBM SPSS Statistics 23 terhadap setiap indikator self-regulated learning pada setiap kelompok menunjukkan bahwa ketiga bentuk intervensi hanya efektif meningkatkan skor pada subskala self-efficacy for learning and performance, organization, critical thinking, dan metacognitive. Temuan ini menjadi evaluasi untuk penyusunan intervensi selanjutnya yang menyasar self-regulated learning mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi.
