Gadjah Mada Journal of Professional Psychology (GamaJPP) was launched in 2015 as an outlet for the publication of a Psychology Master’s thesis at Gadjah Mada University taking into account that this program produces a large number of final assignments each year. From the start, Gadjah Mada Journal of Professional Psychology (GamaJPP) was published three times a year with the aim of disseminating empirical research reports that did not involve clinical or therapeutic interventions. However since 2018 Gadjah Mada Journal of Professional Psychology (GamaJPP) has only been published in two editions a year (May and October).

Gadjah Mada Journal of Professional Psychology (GamaJPP) has been accredited by National Journal Accreditation (ARJUNA) Managed by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of Republic Indonesia with Third Grade (Sinta 3) for year 2018 to 2022 according to the decree No. 28/E/KPT/2019.
