Berita Kedokteran Masyarakat (BKM) Public Health and Community Medicine is a scientific journal in the field of Public Health published since 1985 by the Master of Public Health Study Program Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing (FKKMK) Gadjah Mada University in collaboration with the Association of Community Medical Doctors and Indonesian Public Health (PDK3MI) and the Indonesian Society of Public Health Expert (IAKMI).
BKM is published every four months since it was published in 1985, then since 2016 (Volume 32), BKM is published every month / 12 times a year. BKM in 2012 until 2015 never vacuum did not publish articles because of the transition of the journal manager so that in 2016, BKM was active again by adding the frequency to 12 editions or published every month.
Since January 2018, Community Medical News has been available online with number ISSN 2614-8412 (online) so that writers and researchers can more easily access research results that have been published in Community Medical News. In addition, sending research articles to the Community Medical News can only be done through an online system (online submission).
BKM is recognized as an accredited national scientific journal based on the Decree of the General Director of Research and Development Strengthening, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education Number: 21 / E / KPT / 2018 dated July 9, 2018 (Sinta 3).
