Manajemen Anestesi pada Operasi Laparoskopi Bayi
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Laparoscopy is a surgical technique introduced more than 80 years ago. However, the role of laparoscopic surgery in children began to be significant in the last 10-15 years. Pediatric laparoscopy in principle has similarities with laparoscopy in adults where there are three main factors that affect anesthesia management in laparoscopic procedures, namely the effect of the pneumoperitoneum, changes in patient position during surgery and the effect of absorption of carbon dioxide gas into blood vessels.
We reported a 5-month-old infant boy diagnosed with Hirchsprung's disease and planned for laparoscopic Pulltrough surgery. The patient had difficulty defecating since the age of 1 month with ASA 1 physical status, anesthesia with GA intubation, no complications occurred, the patient was discharged the fifth day after the procedure
With good anesthesia and paying attention to the effect of laparoscopy on physiological changes in the body, we can minimize the risk of perioperative complications in pediatric patients undergoing laparoscopic procedures.
