It must briefly describe the background of the study, objectives, methods, principal results, and main conclusions. Abstracts should be clear, concise, and able to stand independently without references or citations.
Keywords should be provided immediately after the abstract and consist of 3–5 relevant terms in English that reflect the main topics of the manuscript.
Introduction
The target population or community should be clearly identified, including a description of the setting and circumstances in which the community lives or receives services. The manuscript should explain the relevant facts, conditions, or phenomena that form the basis for conducting the community empowerment program or intervention.
Authors are encouraged to describe previous efforts, programs, or interventions that have been implemented by other institutions, organizations, or stakeholders in addressing the identified problems. In addition, the objectives and expected outcomes of the community empowerment activities should be clearly stated, particularly in relation to the existing challenges, needs, or health-related issues within the target community.
Methods
The Methods section should clearly describe the approaches and procedures used to address the identified problems, challenges, or research questions, as well as to achieve the objectives of the study or community empowerment activities.
Authors should provide detailed information regarding data collection procedures, including sampling methods or participant selection techniques, research instruments, and the validity and reliability of the data collection tools when applicable. The methods of data analysis should also be explained clearly to ensure the reproducibility and scientific rigor of the study.
In addition, the manuscript should specify the location where the study or activity was conducted, along with the period and duration of implementation.
Result
Relevant documentation supporting the implementation of community empowerment activities should be included where appropriate. Photographs and other visual materials must clearly illustrate the activities, outcomes, or community involvement related to the program.
The Results section should present findings in a clear, systematic, and objective manner without extensive citation of the literature. Significant and original findings must be emphasized. Data may be presented in the form of tables, figures, or numerical descriptions when necessary; however, unnecessary repetition and excessive data presentation should be avoided. Interpretation of findings, comparison with previous studies, and detailed discussion should be reserved for the Discussion section.
Discussion
The Discussion section should provide a clear interpretation of the study findings in relation to existing knowledge, theories, or previous studies relevant to the topic. Authors should emphasize the novelty, significance, or contribution of the findings and explain how the results address the objectives of the study or community empowerment activities. Any assumptions or interpretations presented in the discussion must be stated explicitly and supported by appropriate reasoning.
The discussion should also explain the relationship between the findings and the characteristics or conditions of the target population or community. Where appropriate, authors may discuss the potential applicability or generalization of the findings to other populations or settings with similar characteristics.
In addition, authors are encouraged to critically describe both the strengths and limitations of the implemented community empowerment activities, particularly in relation to the social, cultural, economic, or environmental conditions of the surrounding community.
