JURNAL KOMPLIKASI ANESTESI is published in conjunction with the Symposium on Anesthetic Complications (SOAC), organized by the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy, FK-KMK, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, in collaboration with the Indonesian Society of Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy, Yogyakarta Special Region Branch (Perdatin). Due to the continually evolving topics and discussions in the field, it was agreed to publish a journal that could accommodate the latest developments in science and serve as a medium for scientific communication. The first issue was published at the end of 2013, and it is issued three times a year (March, August, November).

This journal serves as a platform for various scientific articles, including research, literature reviews, case reports, and book reviews. The presence of this journal is expected to contribute knowledge and insights in the field of Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy for fellow professionals.
