All open access articles published in Media Informasi (MI) journals are released under the conditions of the CC-BY-SA (Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License), which permits the following: share: copy and redistribute the work in any medium or format; Adapt: remix, adapt, and extend the work for any purpose, including commercial purposes.
The author retains copyright. But it does NOT have full publishing rights without restrictions. Attribution (BY): Anyone using the work (including the author themselves if they wish to republish elsewhere) must give credit to the original author. 2. ShareAlike (SA): Anyone who composes, modifies, or builds on the work (creates a derivative work) must publish the derivative work under the exact same license, which is CC BY-SA.
So, while the author retains the copyright, they cannot revoke the CC BY-SA license that has been granted for the published work. They also cannot prohibit others from using their work as long as they comply with the attribution and sharealike conditions.
