Abstract

Perpustakaan perguruan tinggi ke depan harus mampu memberikan sebuah
layanan nyata yang berkontribusi langsung kepada perguruan tinggi tempat ia
bernaung. Perpustakaan Sekolah Pascasarjana sebagai perpustakaan yang
menginduk kepada Sekolah Pascasarjana merasa perlu mendesain sebuah
layanan referensi yang lebih intim bagi pemustakanya. Secara umum, layanan
referensi merupakan ujung tombak pada sebuah perpustakaan, maka beberapa
langkah ditempuh untuk mengkreasi sebuah layanan unggulan. Hasil pengamatan
dan masukan dari para pemangku kepentingan, muncullah layanan kajian pustaka
(literature review) yang saat ini sedang dalam tahap perintisan. Layanan kajian
pustaka ini dilayankan secara intim guna memenuhi kebutuhan pemustaka
Perpustakaan Sekolah Pascasarjana UGM sesuai kepakaran dan minat
pemustaka.
