Inovasi dan impak kegiatan Perpustakaan di Perpustakaan Fakultas Ekonomika Dan Bisnis Universitas Gadjah Mada
Abstract
Daya saing yang tinggi sangat diperlukan oleh setiap organisasi agar tetap survive
di era global. Inovasi merupakan salah satu kata kunci dalam menghadapi
persaingan yang semakin ketat. Demikian juga dengan perpustakaan. Pemustaka
digital native membutuhkan metode dan variasi layanan yang berbeda dengan
generasi sebelumnya. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut, Perpustakaan
Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis UGM selama tahun 2016-2018 melakukan
berbagai inovasi layanan dengan berkolaborasi dengan pihak-pihak terkait.
Bentuk kegiatan inovasi meliputi pengembangan sistem informasi perpustakaan,
penambahan langganan beberapa database, pengembangan sarana prasarana,
dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia. Impak kegiatan inovasi yaitu sivitas
akademika dapat memperoleh akses sumber daya informasi dan layanan dengan
mudah dan cepat, serta dapat merasa aman dan nyaman selama memanfaatkan
perpustakaan.
