The Journal of Natural Dyes is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the research, development, and application of natural dyes derived from plants, animals, minerals, and microorganisms. The journal aims to provide a platform for interdisciplinary studiescovering the chemistry, sustainability, and innovation of natural dyeing processes for various industries, including textiles, food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to:

·Historical and Cultural Studies: ethnobotanical, archaeological, and historical research on the traditional use of natural dyes.
·Raw materials for natural dyes derived from plants, animals, minerals, and microorganisms – selection and cultivation.
·Process (Extraction, isolation, encapsulation, etc) and Characterization: Studies on novel and traditional methods for extracting natural dyes and their chemical, structural, and functional analysis.
·Application and Performance: Research on the use of natural dyes in textiles, leather, paper, food, cosmetics, and biomedical applications.
·Innovative Formulations: Development of hybrid natural-synthetic dyes, bio-based mordants, and smart dyeing technologies.
·Sustainability and Green Chemistry: Investigations into the environmental impact, biodegradability, and eco-friendly processing of natural dyes.
·Industrial and Commercial Perspectives: Scale-up strategies, regulatory aspects, and market potential of natural dye industries, social and economy aspects.
