Nama-Nama Jajanan Khas Arab
Abstract
Penamaan makanan merupakan salah satu sistem budaya yang dimiliki setiap etnis. Penamaan tersebut dilatarbelakangi sistem kehidupan serta kebiasaan adat budaya yang dimiliki. Salah satu penamaan yang unik yakni jajanan khas dari Arab. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode simak dengan teknik sadap dari sumber tertulis berupa buku dan laman internet. Selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan metode padan referensial. Setelah dilakukan analisis terhadap data, ditemukan bahwa penamaan yang dipakai dalam jajanan khas Arab yakni berdasarkan bahan, cara pembuatan, tempat, penyebutan sifat khas, metafora atau keserupaan, metonimi pembuat serta tokoh, dan penamaan baru atau arbitrer.
