Peer Review Process

The peer review process employed by Jurnal Manajemen dan Pelayanan Farmasi (Journal of Management and Pharmacy Practice) involves a rigorous double-blind review system to ensure the quality and integrity of all submitted manuscripts. Here's an improved description of the process:

Peer Review Process for the Journal of Management and Pharmacy Practice:

  1. Initial Evaluation (Review A): Upon manuscript submission, our team conducts an initial review to assess various aspects, including adherence to author guidelines, writing quality, and overall suitability for publication. This stage aims to ensure that the manuscript aligns with our publication standards.

  2. Comprehensive Content Review (Review B): Subsequently, the manuscript undergoes a thorough content evaluation by an expert peer reviewer. Both Review A and Review B are meticulous and may span approximately 3 to 6 months, respectively, to ensure a comprehensive and constructive assessment of the submission.

  3. Editor's Decision: The Editor, guided by the feedback from Reviewers and the Editorial Board, deliberates on the manuscript's fate. The decision letter is then sent to the Author, presenting four potential outcomes:

    • Declined (rejected)
    • Accepted with Revision (either major or minor)
    • Accept Submission as is
    • Resubmit for Further Review
  4. Revision Stage: If revisions are required, the Author is given the opportunity to enhance the manuscript based on the feedback received during the review process. This stage aims to elevate the quality and relevance of the content.

  5. Proofreading Stage: The revised manuscript is subject to a final proofreading, ensuring that all recommendations and changes proposed by the reviewers have been incorporated accurately.

  6. Proofread Revision Stage: This step verifies that the revised manuscript aligns with the journal's standards and expectations, guaranteeing a final, polished version.

  7. Final Decision: The manuscript's fate is ultimately determined, resulting in either acceptance or rejection. If accepted, the Author will receive an electronic Letter of Acceptance (LOA) via email. Manuscripts that do not demonstrate significant improvement or fail to meet our standards will be declined at this stage.

This comprehensive peer-review process ensures the quality, integrity, and alignment with the journal's standards for all published manuscripts.

Underlying data should be represented accurately in the paper. A paper should contain sufficient detail and references to permit others to replicate the work. Fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behaviour and are unacceptable.

Disclosure and Conflict of Interest: All authors should disclose in their manuscript any financial or other substantive conflict of interest that might be construed to influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript. All sources of financial support for the project should be disclosed.
