TINJAUAN SIGNIFIKASI PENDIDIKAN MUSIK PADA PESERTA DIDIK BERKEBUTUHAN KHUSUS

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara komprehensif dampak pendidikan musik terhadap perkembangan peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus melalui tinjauan sistematis literatur. Metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) digunakan dengan mengikuti protokol PRISMA untuk mengidentifikasi, mengevaluasi, dan mensintesis temuan-temuan dari studi terkait yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2000 hingga 2023. Dari 327 artikel yang diidentifikasi dalam basis data akademik utama (Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar), 58 studi dipilih berdasarkan kriteria inklusi yang ketat, yaitu: (1) penelitian berfokus pada intervensi pendidikan musik pada peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus, (2) menggunakan desain penelitian eksperimental atau kuasi-eksperimental, dan (3) memiliki hasil yang dapat diukur secara empiris. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan musik memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan pada berbagai aspek perkembangan peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus, termasuk kognitif, sosial-emosional, motorik, dan akademik. Secara spesifik, pendidikan musik terbukti meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa, memori kerja, regulasi emosi, keterampilan sosial, koordinasi motorik, dan prestasi akademik. Temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya pendidikan musik dalam kurikulum pendidikan khusus dan mengindikasikan perlunya penelitian lanjutan untuk mengeksplorasi strategi implementasi yang lebih efektif dalam berbagai konteks pendidikan.
