Author Guidelines

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
The manuscript is arranged with these sections: title, authors, affiliations, and corresponding author’s contact details, abstract, keywords, introduction (background and objectives), methods, results and discussion, conclusions, acknowledgment, and list of references.

 

GUIDELINES OF WRITING

Manuscript is typed with Microsoft word program, paper size A4, font Times New Roman size 12, spaced 1.5, margins for top-bottom-left-right 3 cm, the number of pages 1,2,3, etc; and give the page numbers on the bottom right corner. The manuscript is expected to be approximately 8-20 pages long.

1. Title

  • The title of article should be written in Bahasa and English, should be specific and effective, not more than 14 words with TNR 12pt bold in Bahasa and TNR 12pt regular in English. 
  • The title should be capitalized in the beginning of sentence.

2. The name and the institution of author

  • The name of the author should be without a degree under the title completed with superscript of letters behind the name of ever author and completed with the information containing institutions and institution address.
  • One of the authors roles as a correspondence author and must write down the address correspondence in a form of email or phone number to help the communication and publishing confirmation.

3. Abstract

  • Abstract should be written structurally using Bahasa and English in italic.
  • Abstract may clearly present the whole essence of the article in 250-300 words.
  • Abstract could be written at the bottom of author name with the background, the purpose of research (objective), methods, result, conclusions and keywords.
  • The keywords should be approximately 3-5 words separated by semicolons and arranged alphabetically.

4. Introductions

Introductions contain background and supporting literature by research purposes. 

5. Materials and methods

  • Type of methods, time, sample, and research variable should be briefly in this part.
  • For the experimental research that uses laboratory must include the main ingredient with clear specification and source.
  • The used of methods should be reproducible and when taken from other sources should be completed citation.
  • Analysis of the data should be written briefly.

6. Results

Table and figures should be referred in the next and given the title with enough information, so it would not depend on the text. The table title is placed before the table, while the title of figure should be bottom of picture. The table is numbered based on the appearance, so is the figure. To help editing, the figure/ table should be completed with excel softcopy or JPG.

7. Discussions

Discussions should be supported with related literature.

8. Conclusion and recommendation

Conclusion withdrawn from the results and discussion must refer to the objectives of the research.

9. Acknowledgements (if necessary)

Name or institution participated in the research could be written here.

10. References

  • The reference should use number system (Vancouver style) I, recommended to use the application of Mendeley, Zotero, or Endnote
  • The numbering of references must be appropriate with the article appearance and written with Arabic numbers in the brackets.

  5. The manuscript has been (to the best of the authors’ abilities) written in Bahasa or English and is free of grammatical errors. It has been checked with a proofreading tool (e.g. Grammarly) and, if possible, proofed by a language editor.

  6. The authors comply to the ethical standards as outlined in the Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement.

Authors are required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs.

If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work.
