Abstract


Latar Belakang: High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) merupakan latihan terbaik untuk meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh dan mencegah cedera. Latihan tersebut adalah latihan kardiovaskular yang menggabungkan latihan intensitas tinggi dalam dosis tertentu. Selain melakukan gerakan raket yang kompleks, pemain bulutangkis membutuhkan koordinasi motorik yang tinggi, stamina kardiovaskular, kelincahan, kekuatan, kecepatan dan ketepatan. Pemain bulutangkis juga rentan mengalami cedera.

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas pemberian High-Intensity Interval Training untuk meningkatkan daya tahan dan mencegah cedera pada pemain bulutangkis.

Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain one group study. Terdapat 15 pemain bulutangkis berusia antara 18 hingga 25 tahun yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Paired t-test dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi efek pelatihan dan dianalisis menggunakan SPSS.

Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan (p<0,05) dalam daya tahan atletik setelah HIIT dengan peningkatan 2,8% dalam kinerja ketahanan mereka. Ada juga efek yang signifikan (p<0,005) dalam pencegahan risiko cedera dengan rata-rata sebesar 1,1%.

Kesimpulan: Program Latihan HIIT dapat memberikan efek yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan komponen fisik, terutama daya tahan, dan mencegah cedera.
