The Journal was first published in Vol 1 No1 October, 2016 as Jurnal Kesehatan Vokasional with ISSN 2541-0644.
In 2017, the journal has e-ISSN 2599-3275. Journal start to publish all content using an open license.
In 2018, the journal was nationally accredited with the decree SINTA 4 No. 34/E/KPT/2018. This accreditation is valid for 5 years until May 2021.
In 2020, the journal was nationally accredited with the decree SINTA 2 No. 148/M/KPT/2020 (start from Vol.5 No.1 Feb 2020). This accreditation is valid for 5 years until May 2024.
In 2024, the journal was nationally accredited with the decree SINTA 3 No. SK: 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025 (start from Vol.9 No.1 Feb 2024). This accreditation is valid for 5 years until May 2028.
In May 2025, the journal was published in English starting from Vol. 10. No. 2 published in May 2025.
The initial frequency of publication in 2016 was in October, and the second issue was published in April 2017. By 2017, the frequency of issuance changes from October and April to May and November and starting in 2019 until now the journal was published four times a year: February, May, August, and November.
