Dr. Tan is Senior Lecturer at Tunku Abdul Rahman University College. He received his B. Tech Management in 2006 and Ph.D. in Manufacturing Flexibility in 2017 from Universiti Utara Malaysia. His primary research and publication areas are manufacturing flexibility, networking technology, Agile and Lean manufacturing, CAD/CAM and operations management.

Kong Teong Lim

Dr. Lim is Associate Professor of Operations Management and former Head of Department of Operations Management at Universiti Utara Malaysia. He received his BSc. in Applied Statistics in 1991 and MSc. in Mathematics (Applied Statistics) in 1993 from Universiti Sains Malaysia, and Ph.D. in Quality Management in 2003 from Universiti Utara Malaysia. His primary research and publication areas are quality improvement and management, production and operations management, lean operations, manufacturing flexibility, knowledge management, and performance management and appraisal.  He has published 5 books; 27 research articles in local and international journals of repute. He is the author of a recent book on Enhancing Your Personal Quality. He is a member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Technology and Operations Management. In addition, he was also appointed as the external course assessor for the course Operations Management, as well as the reviewer for academic papers published in local and international journals and conference proceedings.
