Abstract

Mantigola Makmur is one of the villages in Kaledupa District, Wakatobi Regency, Southeast Sulawesi. All the residents are from the Bajo tribe, who are known as sea lovers and nomads. Their daily lives cannot be separated from the sea. They live in the sea. Looking for a daily living at sea. Looking for entertainment also at sea. Strictly speaking, they cannot be separated from the sea. This reality gives rise to various problems, starting from inadequate educational facilities, health facilities, public facilities and environmental functions. Realizing this situation, KKN PPM Unit S3-003 students tried to identify existing problems and invite the community to solve them. To identify problems, they use literature studies, observations, unstructured interviews, and surveys. From this data, the UGM KKN-PPM team discovered various problems being faced by Mantigola Makmur Village. To solve this problem, we carry out education, outreach, counseling and share best practices.
