The current version of J.Rek.Pros. is the result of continuous improvement from the efforts of the previous management teams. Therefore our gratitude and highest appreciation is for the retired editor-in-chiefs of J. Rek. Pros.: Ir. Hary Sulistyo, SU., Ph.D and Ir. Siti Syamsiah, Ph.D (almarhumah) and all the staffs, who have managed the publication of the journal from the first edition in 2007 until 2016.

- in 2018, Jurnal Rekayasa Proses is nationally accredited by the Director General of Strengthening the Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 30/E/KPT/2018 as SINTA 2 (2016-2021).
