1. The Journal of Internet and Software Engineering (JISE) was first indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) on May 9, 2023, marking a crucial step toward increasing the visibility and accessibility of its published scientific articles.

2. Beginning in 2023, the publication frequency of JISE changed from one issue per year to two issues per year (in May and November) to accommodate the rising number of manuscript submissions and expedite the publication process.

3. On October 5, 2022, a change in editorial leadership occurred with the appointment of Dr.Eng. Ganjar Alfian, S.T., M.Eng., as the new Editor-in-Chief, succeeding Ir. Nur Rohman Rosyid, S.T., M.T., D.Eng. This leadership transition is intended to bring a fresh perspective to enhancing the journal’s quality.

4. Since December 8, 2022, JISE has expanded its editorial team by appointing new international editors from the Czech Republic, South Korea, and the United Kingdom as part of its strategy to foster global collaboration and broaden its scientific outreach.
