What JAMADev Editors Look For

The editorial team at JAMADev seeks to publish high-quality, original research that makes meaningful contributions to the advancement of agribusiness, agricultural socio-economics, and sustainable agricultural development. Submitted manuscripts should demonstrate scientific rigor, practical relevance, and clear implications for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners.

During the initial editorial screening, editors evaluate key components of the manuscript, including the title, abstract, cover letter, conclusions, and references to determine whether the submission aligns with the journal’s aims and scope, meets academic standards, and is suitable for peer review.

Your manuscript is more likely to proceed to peer review if it:

  • Fits the aims and scope of JAMADev.
  • Presents original research that advances knowledge in agribusiness, agricultural socio-economics, or related fields.
  • Contributes to current academic discussions and addresses relevant challenges in agriculture and food systems.
  • Is well-organized, scientifically sound, and prepared according to the JAMADev Author Guidelines.
  • Uses clear, concise, and professional academic English.
  • Complies with ethical standards in research and publication, including originality, transparency, and responsible authorship.
