FOCUS AND SCOPE

AIST welcomes original research articles that explore the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and technology, with a particular emphasis on works demonstrating clear and practical applications. Contributions may address, but are not limited to, the following areas:

Scientific Discovery and Modeling Applications: utilization of AI for system modeling, simulations, and computational approaches across diverse scientific domains, including engineering technology and environmental science, as well as smart technologies in environmental monitoring and scientific discovery.

Industrial Technology Applications: development and implementation of AI-driven systems in electronics, robotics, manufacturing processes, and smart industrial technologies, including applications in industry and smart factory environments.

Technology Innovation: advancement of AI and machine learning methodologies in novel and emerging technological fields such as the Internet of Things (IoT), quantum computing, renewable energy systems, materials science, and other smart technology innovations.

Data-Driven Technology Applications: application of AI techniques for data analysis, knowledge extraction, and visualization from large-scale scientific datasets, including data from smart infrastructure and intelligent sensing systems.

AI in Scientific Instruments and Automation: enhancement of scientific instrumentation, laboratory automation, and diagnostic tools through AI-based solutions, with potential applications in smart devices and intelligent control systems.
