Abstract


Natrium diklofenak (NaDCF) merupakan obat golongan non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) yang memiliki rasa pahit sehingga perlu teknik penutupan rasa. Pembentukan kompleks inklusi NaDCF dengan β-siklodekstrin (BSD) dapat dilakukan untuk menutupi rasa yang kurang enak. Kompleks inklusi natium diklofenak-β-siklodekstrin (NaDCF-BSD) dibuat dengan metode spray drying dengan perbandingan molar natrium diklofenak-β-siklodekstrin 1:1. NaDCF, BSD, dan kompleks NaDCF-BSD dikarakterisasi dengan Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR). Kompleks NaDCF-BSD diformulasi ke dalam sediaan Fast Disintegrating Tablet (FDT) dengan mengoptimasi crospovidone sebagai superdisintegrant dan mikrokristalin selulosa (MCC) PH 102 sebagai filler binder. FDT dibuat dengan metode kempa langsung. Uji tanggap rasa dilakukan terhadap FDT dengan formula optimum. FDT dengan kadar crospovidone 5,79% dan kadar MCC PH 102 39,21% memiliki sifat fisik optimum. Hasil uji tanggap rasa menunjukkan FDT dengan NaDCF terinklusi β-siklodekstrin memiliki rasa lebih baik dari pada FDT NaDCF tanpa inklusi.
