Journal of Mechanical Design and Testing (JMDT) was first published in 2019 by Centre for Innovation of Medical Equipment and Devices (CIMEDs), Faculty of Engineering and Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Gadjah Mada, with the objective of disseminating the latest or recent findings in the field of mechanical engineering.
In 2019, JMDT migrated to Open Journal Systems (OJS), the open-source journal management and publishing system with location at: https://jurnal.ugm.ac.id/jmdt/index.
