Abstract


Terlepas dari perdebatan berlarut-larut dalam pencarian faktor ajeg terjadinya krisis lingkungan berskala keplanetan, hal yang tak dapat dinihilkan adalah kuatnya berbagai sudut pandang keilmuan untuk melimitasi laju peran manusia saat mengintervensi alam sejatinya terbuka lebar. Tepat pada fase itu, BALAIRUNG mengambil tempat pula dalam diskusi intelektual global dengan menunggangi ombak yang diembuskan angin kajian nonmanusia berikut segala bentuk derivatnya. Hal itu tak hanya diejawantahan lewat peningkatan keragaman pisau metodologis yang marak belakangan, tetapi juga melalui penyorotan permasalahan dari interaksi manusia-alam yang sepenuhnya lain dengan elaborasi di atas, yakni dimensi hukum. Dalam polemik ekosida, hal itu terproyeksikan dengan begitu jelas.
