However, research based on starch grain analysis remains limited and less recognized. This article presents the development of starch grain analysis in Indonesia, utilizing data from archaeobotanical studies conducted between 2011 and 2024. The findings reveal that various extraction procedures, identification processes, and interpretations of starch grains have contributed to understanding the past relationship between humans and plants. Moreover, these aspects have also contributed to the development of starch grain analysis trends, including methodological development and diversification phases. However, starch analyses still face limitations, including restricted geographical scope, disparities in cultural period coverage, and insufficient reference sample databases. Addressing these limitations promptly is crucial to facilitate more comprehensive and accelerated advancements in starch grain analysis in the future.

===

M. Dziyaul F. The museum serves as educational and research for diverse audiences, including academics, students, teachers, and families. However, no family education program is available despite families being primary learning environments. This article aims to develop an educational program based on museum collections that actively involve families, creates learning, bonds, and shared memories, and increases understanding of museum collections. Through a qualitative approach through observations and interviews, this research explores the needs and expectations of visitor families. The resulting educational program is designed to provide an interactive, fun learning experience and strengthen environmental awareness.

===

Narezwari Nindya Pramesti Copyright (c) 2025 JANUS https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.ugm.ac.id/v3/janus/article/view/21144 Wed, 18 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Perkembangan Lanskap Spiritual Masyarakat Pondok Tinggi, Sungai Penuh https://jurnal.ugm.ac.id/v3/janus/article/view/18953
Pondok Tinggi, situated in the center of Sungai Penuh, was once the capital of Kerinci Regency. Nowadays, Pondok Tinggi has evolved into a center of government, resulting in significant changes to the community's life. The flow of modernization brings along interactions with diverse cultures, which influence the development and transformation of the community's sacred space. Therefore, it is necessary to explore aspects that influence the development of the spiritual landscape of the Pondok Tinggi community—the research method employed interviews and literature studies, utilizing an ethnohistorical and collective memory approach. The results indicate that the community's sacred space in the Pondok Tinggi area has transformed during the pre-Islamic period, the early Islamic period, and the present day. This can be seen from the location of the Kenduri Sko event and the community's treatment of artifacts. Furthermore, the Pondok Tinggi community still believes that areas located in the highlands are considered sacred.

===

Rofi Surya Aryanto Copyright (c) 2025 JANUS https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.ugm.ac.id/v3/janus/article/view/18953 Wed, 18 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0700
