Abstract

Pariwisata berbasis komunitas sering kali diposisikan sebagai instrumen pembangunan partisipatif yang mengedepankan harmoni sosial dan tidak terlepas dari konflik implisit. Berangkat dari kerangka Community-Based Tourism (CBT), penelitian ini menyoroti bagaimana wacana harmoni dan partisipasi dalam desa wisata justru menyembunyikan ketegangan antaraktor dalam pengelolaannya. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Wisata Putat, Kabupaten Gunungkidul, dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui pendekatan etnografi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konflik terjadi secara implisit dan direproduksi secara halus melalui praktik komunikasi sehari-hari dan negosiasi peran. Konflik implisit tersebut berfungsi sebagai mekanisme sosial yang membentuk batas, legitimasi, dan relasi kuasa dalam sistem pariwisata komunitas. Temuan ini menegaskan posisi konflik dalam CBT sebagai bagian integral dari proses pengelolaan, sekaligus menggeser pandangan konvensional yang menempatkan konflik sebagai indikator disfungsi sosial.
