Isbandi Rukminto Adi is a lecture at Departement of Social Welfare, Univesitas Indonesia and the youngest Professor in the field of Social Welfare in Indonesia. His research interest is on the field of community development and community empowerment; poverty aleviation and disaster programmes;  child welfare and child protection; and social welfare policy, services and programmes.
