JAOSHE aims to serve as an academic platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and policymakers to disseminate scientific knowledge and applied research related to occupational safety, health, and environmental issues. The handling of the accumulation of lactic acid levels that has now been carried out is by consuming drinks that contain sodium bicarbonate and giving isotonic water. Purpose: to analyze the differences and effects of giving red dragon fruit juice and the control of red syrup drinks on lactic acid levels in the blood. Research Methods: This type of research is a quasi-experimental study with a pre-post test control group design research design. The population of this study were roof tile makers, totaling 125 workers in 35 industries in the RT. 09/RW. 04 Karangasem Village, Wirosari District, Grobogan Regency, Central Java. The sample of this study were workers aged 26-45 years and workers with male sex as many as 11 people for each treatment. Results: in the paired t test there was a significant effect of giving red dragon fruit juice p = 0.000 (&lt;0.05) and the control of red syrup drinks p = 0.004 (&lt;0.05). In the Independent T test there is a significant difference in the results of the post-test with a value of p = 0.00 (&lt;0.05). Conclusion: There is a difference in lactic acid levels between before and after administration of red syrup drink and red dragon fruit juice control. There was a difference in the post-test result values between the control group that was given red syrup and the treatment group 1 that was given red dragon fruit juice.</p> Rizqi Zulfian Irfandi, Rr. Clinical psychopathological symptoms impact patients’ recovery process during hospitalization. In 2025 in Riau Province, 145 workers suffered physical disabilities due to workplace accidents, of whom 18 were unable to return to work after developing physical limitations. As a trauma care center, the hospital has not yet involved psychologists in the holistic healing process alongside the medical team; there are no standard hospital policies for return-to-work preparation; and patients still exhibit symptoms of anxiety and/or depression. This study identifies the development of policy strategies for psychological health services in hospitals for patients following work-related accidents. The research method employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a research and development (R&amp;D) study design using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Development, Design, Implementation, and Evaluation), conducted at a hospital in Riau Province. Sampling was conducted using purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews, document review, and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs). Methyl isocyanate (MIC) is a highly toxic intermediate by inhalation and may form a hazardous vapor cloud when released into the atmosphere. This study aims to model the threat zones of MIC release using ALOHA as a basis for severity screening and occupational health and safety risk prioritization in the pesticide industry. A case study approach was applied using three release scenarios: storage vessel leak, transfer line leak, and vent/relief release. Atmospheric parameters were kept consistent across all scenarios, including wind speed of 1 m/s from the north, air temperature of 30°C, relative humidity of 75%, urban or forest ground roughness, cloud cover of 5 tenths, and stability class A. The results showed that the storage vessel scenario generated AEGL-3, AEGL-2, and ERPG-1 distances of 2.4 km, 4.1 km, and 6.6 km, respectively. The transfer line scenario generated AEGL-3, AEGL-2, and ERPG-1 distances of 2.7 km, 4.1 km, and 5.9 km, respectively. The vent/relief scenario generated AEGL-3, AEGL-2, and ERPG-1 distances of 2.9 km, 4.2 km, and 5.9 km, respectively. Based on AEGL-3 and AEGL-2 distances, the vent/relief scenario was identified as the main priority for controlling serious health consequences, while the storage vessel scenario requires attention because it produced the longest ERPG-1 distance. The wood processing industry is one of the sectors with a high risk of minor injury occurrence, one of which is PT X Purbalingga. This study aimed to determine the relationship between work fatigue and minor injury occurrence among workers in the production unit of PT X Purbalingga in 2026. This study used a cross-sectional design with 93 respondents selected using an incidental sampling technique. The research instrument used was a questionnaire, in which work fatigue was measured using the Work Fatigue Feeling Measurement Questionnaire (KAUPK2). The results of the chi-square analysis showed a significant relationship between work fatigue and minor injury occurrence (p-value = 0.005) with a weak strength of association (CC = 0.277). Workers are expected to recognize early signs of fatigue in themselves so that concentration and alertness at work can be maintained, thereby minimizing the risk of minor injury occurrence.</p> Tashya Khairina Zarfah, Suryanto Suryanto Copyright (c) https://jurnal.ugm.ac.id/v3/JAOSHE/article/view/32479 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0700 Analisis Risiko Pekerjaan Dredging menggunakan Metode HIRADC Sebagai Penguatan Budaya K3 melalui Kolaborasi Perguruan Tinggi dan Industri https://jurnal.ugm.ac.id/v3/JAOSHE/article/view/32344 <div><em><span lang="EN">Dredging is an essential maritime construction activity that plays a significant role in the development and expansion of port infrastructure through the excavation and removal of underwater sediments and materials. This activity involves a high level of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) risk due to the operation of vessels, heavy equipment, maintenance activities, and fuel handling processes that may result in workplace accidents and environmental impacts. This study aims to identify potential hazards, assess risk levels, and determine appropriate risk control measures for dredging operations in the Port Development Project using the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Determining Control (HIRADC) method. Data were collected through field observations, interviews with project personnel, documentation reviews, and examination of company records in accordance with ISO 45001:2018 standards. The analysis focused on five main operational activities, namely shifting, dredging work, loading hopper barges, maintenance, and bunkering. The results identified 34 occupational risks associated with physical, mechanical, chemical, and electrical hazards, with risk levels ranging from low to extreme. Prior to the implementation of control measures, most identified risks were categorized as high and extreme. The application of HIRADC resulted in various control measures, including engineering controls, administrative controls, and the use of personal protective equipment, which significantly reduced risk levels, enabling extreme risks to be mitigated to high or moderate categories. The findings demonstrate that the HIRADC method is effective in improving operational safety, protecting the working environment, and supporting project sustainability.
