These findings are essential in ensuring that the library's digital services meet user expectations and needs effectively.

Data Collection Method. This study adopts a quantitative approach, using WebQual 4.0 and LibQual methodologies, combined with Importance-Performance Analysis, involving 267 respondents. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire.

Data Analysis. The study utilized conformity analysis to compare user expectations with perceived service quality. Gap analysis identified discrepancies between expectations and actual website performance, while quadrant analysis prioritized areas for improvement based on importance and performance levels.

Results and Discussion. Findings indicate that the Universitas Trunojoyo Madura library website is generally rated as “Good.” However, gap analysis reveals negative values, suggesting that certain aspects fall short of user expectations. Specific website sections require improvements to enhance usability and effectiveness.

Conclusion and Recommendation. While the website’s overall quality is adequate, addressing identified gaps is crucial. Recommendations include optimizing the homepage layout, enhancing the search function, and implementing user-driven adjustments to improve satisfaction and service quality.
2025-06-19T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Berkala Ilmu Perpustakaan dan Informasi https://jurnal.ugm.ac.id/v3/BIP/article/view/18653 The implementation of collection development in the Gempita Pustaka School Library 2025-06-19T14:36:44+07:00 Diaz Lana Putra diaz.lana.putra-2023@fisip.unair.ac.id Yasmin Ananda Putri yasmin.ananda.putri-2023@fisip.unair.ac.id Zulfatun Sofiyani zulfatun.sofiyani@fisip.unair.ac.id
Introduction. School libraries serve as educational resources; nevertheless, the collection development process is commonly ignored or executed improperly. The objective of the study is to examine the Gempita Pustaka Library’s collection development process and strategic position by implementing Evans & Saponaro collection development method and SWOT analysis.

Research method. The study was performed through descriptive qualitative method, incorporating observations and conducting interviews in collecting data.

Data analysis. Data analysis was conducted using the collection development process by Evans and Saponaro, while SWOT analysis was applied to identify internal analysis (strengths and vulnerabilities).
