Effendi, Nury, holds the position of Head of the Economics Department at Universitas Padjadjaran. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in 1983 in economics from Universitas Padjadjaran, his master's degree in 1987 in arts (economics) from the Ohio State University, and a PhD in 2001 in economics from the University of Oklahoma. His research interests include finance, macroeconomics, and development economics. He has published and edited several books and papers in peer-reviewed journals.
